ETHICS
This is the statement of ethics for Malaysian Journal of Computing (MJoC) published by Universiti Teknologi MARA Press (Penerbit UiTM). MJoC aspires to select and publish, through double-blind peer-review. A guideline on MJoC code of ethics is largely based upon the principles upheld by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It covers the code of ethics for chief editor, editorial board members, reviewers and authors.
Malpractise Statement
The Malaysian Journal of Computing (MJoC) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all cases of ethical misconduct seriously. This statement outlines our policy against misconduct in academic publishing. Allegations of misconduct including plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research procedures, will be thoroughly investigated. If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate measures will be taken, which may include notifying the authors’ institution, retracting the article, or banning the authors from future submissions. MJoC adheres to the best practices in publication ethics as outlined by the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE). By submitting a manuscript to MJoC, authors, reviewers, and editors agree to abide by these ethical guidelines and take an active role in maintaining the integrity of academic publishing.
